Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a Business Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative and office services that support the efficient operation of our business units and the delivery of services to Aboriginal communities across NSW.
This role offers variety, impact, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative team that values cultural knowledge, professionalism, and community outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Deliver a range of administrative and business support activities to assist in the smooth functioning of the team.
  • Manage and process grant payments accurately and in line with governance and compliance requirements.
  • Liaise with conveyancers and legal or financial contacts to support timely and accurate conveyance-related payments.
  • Maintain accurate records, manage business information and data, and ensure compliance with Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) standards.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations to support business managers and Directors.
  • Support meetings and events, including scheduling, logistics and documentation.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the business unit, providing high-quality customer service and assisting internal staff and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate workflows and share information across teams and external partners to support efficient service delivery.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative systems and processes.
