WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Experience in a similar role within the insurance industry
  • Possession of, or a willingness to obtain, the Wft Business Insurance certification is desirable but not essential.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of insurance contracts is desirable
  • Proven experience in administrative and financial tasks; familiarity with e-ABS is a strong advantage
  • Fluency in Dutch (minimum B2, ideally C1) and a good command of English, both spoken and written
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • A structured, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to following procedures and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to summarise complex information
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Accurately registering new claims, identifying discrepancies, and properly storing claim documents
  • Actively monitoring claim statuses and contributing to turnaround time improvements
  • Preparing claim statements and carefully checking and processing financial data in the system
  • Initiating process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Updating claim reserves and preparing claim overviews
  • Handling provincial SME/Fleet claims
  • Answering incoming calls and either resolving them or forwarding them to the appropriate Claims Handler
