We are currently seeking a Business Support Specialist to join our central business support team within the Core Public Health Team based at the Municipal Offices. This is a secondment opportunity until June 2027, following the current postholder obtaining a development post within the service area.
As a member of the central business support team, you might be required to support in various business support sectors within North East Lincolnshire Council. Your role will involve providing dynamic and sturdy support to our internal and external clients, as well as our colleagues. Servicing meetings to include the production of agendas, invites, minutes, actions and distribution will be a crucial part of this role. The meetings will be confidential and of a sensitive nature involving multi-agencies. Your duties will encompass effective task allocation, coordination, and aiding in process improvements, all while adhering to our service standards. As a representative of the business support service, your main goal will be to ensure the utmost customer satisfaction by delivering timely, professional, accurate, and confidential support in line with individual service agreements. This position may require you to work with sensitive and confidential information. Applicants will work on a blended role profile where there could be a mixture of home/office-based working – this will be dependent on the needs of the services we support.
