Job Summary Under the direction of the Senior Manager, the Business Systems Administrator will perform a broad scope of system and network administration functions encompassing all business activities. This role will focus on maintaining and optimizing Beekman 1802's IT infrastructure, providing end-user technical support, interfacing with 3rd party support functions, and ensuring system reliability across our operations. A successful candidate for this role will be resourceful and take initiative while they continue to develop their business acumen and technical skills in a fast-paced environment where their support directly impacts the team and businesses day to day. While this position is remote, EST working hours are required for the position, and after-hour, holiday, and weekend support hours may be required and occasional travel is required. Excellent proactive written communication and a willingness to work collaboratively through tools such as Teams, Asana, and Slack are a must. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide technical support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and system-related issues promptly. Review and enhance current IT processes and procedures to promote a culture of continuous improvement. Communicate project statuses, timelines, and updates to stakeholders and team members. Collaborate on software integration, testing, and deployment as needed to support business operations. Ensure compliance with IT security policies, data protection standards, and relevant regulations. Assist with onboarding new IT tools and systems, including user training when required. Assist with reporting needs and ad hoc system queries from all level of stakeholders. Create technical support documentation for systems and applications along with developing SOPs for use of those systems. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in system administration or related role. Extensive understanding of system administration in Windows and working knowledge of macOS. Ability to redirect focus and pivot quickly based on business need. Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Celigo, EDI, user access control. Familiarity with Netsuite or other similar ERPs. Experience in a multi-location environment and distribution setting required. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as a team. Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues. Ability to travel as needed with notice.
