Description The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and enhancing Aalberts Surface Technologies’ business systems, with primary focus on the Plex ERP (UX) platform. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, internal IT, and external support partners to ensure systems effectively support operational. The Business Systems Analyst assists with ongoing system improvements, user support, training, and data-driven decision making, while helping maintain reliable integrations and reporting solutions across the enterprise. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Provide day-to-day functional support for Plex ERP (UX), including troubleshooting issues, answering user questions, assisting with configuration changes, and end user training. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain) to analyze business requirements and translate them into system solutions. 3. Support ongoing Plex enhancements, upgrades, and module implementations in coordination with internal IT and external Plex resources. 4. Assist with data validation, testing, and documentation related to system changes and new functionality. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Plex ERP, within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and propose practical system or process solutions. Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with IT, operations, and external partners. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 2+ Years hands-on experience ERP systems. 2+ Years work history in a Manufacturing environment. ERP Configuration, Implementation or Training experience preferred. Rockwell’s Plex ERP experience preferred.
