SUMMARY

The Business / Systems Analyst will support the Bureau of Engraving and Printing’s (BEP) Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives by translating business needs into functional and technical requirements. This role will work closely with program managers, developers, and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, document workflows, and ensure solutions align with BEP’s operational objectives, Enterprise Lifecycle (ELC) standards, and security requirements. The Business / Systems Analyst will also assist in testing, training, dashboard creation, and change management activities to enable successful deployment, performance tracking, and adoption of automation solutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years developing technical requirements, supporting product development, configuring, testing, dashboarding, and training users on cloud-based RPA/AI implementations in the commercial or government sector.
  • Knowledge Areas: Requirements elicitation, business process modeling, Agile methodologies, RPA platforms, cognitive automation tools, dashboard development, and federal IT documentation standards.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain clearance as required by BEP; must meet High Risk position requirements under HSPD-12.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with UiPath or other leading RPA platforms.
  • Familiarity with tools for process mapping and documentation (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience developing dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to visualize automation metrics.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting to measure automation ROI and performance.
  • Knowledge of change management frameworks for technology adoption.

Responsibilities
  • Elicit, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements for RPA and cognitive automation solutions.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, and process mapping to identify automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with developers, security teams, and cloud engineers to refine solution designs and ensure requirements traceability.
  • Prepare use case documentation, process flow diagrams, and technical specifications in accordance with BEP ELC requirements.
  • Support backlog grooming, prioritization, and tracking of automation use cases and enhancements.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), including developing test plans, executing test cases, and documenting results.
  • Create training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on deployed automation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs, automation performance, and program metrics.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet BEP’s Section 508 compliance and federal documentation standards.
  • Provide ongoing business and systems analysis support for operational automations, including updates and enhancements.
