ROLE SUMMARY
The Business Systems Analyst bridges the gap between business needs and IT solutions. The post holder will have a thorough understanding of business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend or implement IT systems to support and optimise operations. The role requires both technical expertise and a strong understanding of business principles and serves as the connection between different systems and the team members who use them. The post holder will need to assimilate knowledge of the different systems and have an in depth understanding of how the various teams work and associated processes.
The post holder will primarily oversee and be responsible for the smooth running of the event management system that underpins the business, currently Events 500, but will also be able to support with any other systems as and when required. The post holder will be responsible for managing the database, transferring data, making sure data is ‘clean’ and up to date, and training other members of staff on how to use the system. The post holder will liaise with Events 500 as well as any other systems and IT colleagues and act as systems champion across the department.
