BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST - CREDIT SYSTEMS:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Systems Analyst - Credit Systems for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST - CREDIT SYSTEMS - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Business Systems Analyst will work within the Business Applications Management team to support the migration of an old credit processing application to a new internal system. This role involves gathering requirements from stakeholders, participating in user acceptance testing, and providing second-line support for application end-users.

BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST - CREDIT SYSTEMS - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • 4-5 years experience in business analysis or program/project delivery roles
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to translate business needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills for leading meetings and ensuring alignment
  • Experience writing test cases and executing functional testing
  • Familiarity with data governance, integrity, and compliance principles
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Experience with end-to-end delivery from requirements to testing and validation

BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST - CREDIT SYSTEMS – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with BClass (legacy in-house banking system)
  • Experience with iCap
  • Background in commercial or small business credit
  • Exposure to solution design documentation processes
  • Understanding of financial services or banking operations
Responsibilities
  • Elicit requirements from stakeholders, identifying pain points or improvements
  • Create necessary Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF) documentation
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Prepare training materials and draft communications for end-users
  • Provide second-line support for application end-users
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Review solution design documents and provide feedback
