Responsibilities
  • Leverage the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform to assist management in the analysis of current workflow processes. Communicate and present findings successfully to all stakeholders.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in applicable business operation systems and applications; provide support to all stakeholders; develop and deliver project-based training as needed to end users; identify continuous training needs and develop and deliver training content; create and maintain documentation for all involved processes.
  • Develop, design, and create reports within the reporting software and provide Level 1 support to end users.
  • Extract information from the ERP and present it to stakeholders across various departments including IT, Finance, and Marketing.
  • Participate in business analytic discussions including metrics development, report generation, analysis, and providing recommendations regarding business needs.
  • Design and monitor quality control reports for all areas of the business.
  • Process reports in the ERP that denote workflow variances and/or inefficiencies and recommend improvements to management.
  • Devise and coordinate the execution of system test plans to include hands-on testing, meeting facilitation, and oversight of testing team to assure timeliness and accountability.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. VP of Business Systems, AVP of Customer Care, and Business Systems Manager to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in the coordination of data conversions of acquisitions from legacy software to the current ERP.
  • Provide backup support for the change process to base pricing and markups in the ERP.
  • Facilitate communication between various technology platforms and assure accurate transfer of information, which includes integration and testing.
  • Create Power Queries in Excel and complete additional queries as requested.
  • Collaborate on project initiatives with other departments.
  • Interact with customers and co-workers in a respectful and courteous manner.
  • Support Eastern’s policies and procedures and comply with all applicable regulatory standards.
  • Be receptive to and competently use new technologies.
  • Be receptive to and successfully complete other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring to this role (aka KSA’s - changes with role)

  • Education: Associate degree in business analytics or related field and a minimum of five years’ experience utilizing an ERP, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience with JD Edwards / Enterprise One a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience with Hubble (reporting software) a plus.
  • Program implementation and integration experience including troubleshooting to resolution.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office required with a strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Exposure to the following systems a plus:
  • Oracle JD Edwards 9.2
  • Back-office distribution systems and mobile platforms
  • Billing processing
  • Oracle Field Service Cloud
  • Descartes experience
  • MPX (invoice print and presentment)
  • Gravity Payments (processing service)
