POSITION OVERVIEW The Business Systems Analyst- Finance & Operations is responsible for managing, optimizing, and evolving Millborn’s financial systems and reporting capabilities. This role serves as the primary administrator for finance and operations applications and focuses on streamlining processes, reducing manual work, and improving data integrity while supporting financial planning, analysis, and leadership reporting. Serving as a bridge between finance, systems, and operations, this position ensures financial data flows efficiently across platforms and is transformed into insights that support informed decision making and long term business success. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, automation, and continuous improvement. This position offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact on how information and systems are leveraged across the business. REPORTING This position has no immediate direct reports and reports to the Chief Financial Officer. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Finance Systems Ownership Administer and optimize ERP systems (configuration, security, workflows) Coordinate testing, issue resolution, and release activities for upgrades and enhancements Oversee data integration across BI tools, inventory, CRM, etc. Lead system implementation and upgrades Manage relationships with 3rd party software/systems providers Partner with internal stakeholders and software vendors to improve system performance and usability Process Automation & Efficiency Identify opportunities to reduce manual data entry Automate recurring tasks and reporting processes Improve data accessibility and reliability across teams Reporting & Analytics Develop management reporting and dashboards Analyze margins, trends, and variance analysis Conduct ad hoc analysis for leadership FP&A Support Build and maintain forecast models Update assumptions and scenarios Provide recommendations to leadership Requirements SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Comprehensive knowledge in financial analysis Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written Strong problem-solving skills 3+ years of accounting/finance experience ERP administration or finance systems experience PowerBi/reporting tools experience Systems implementation, upgrades, or integration experience preferred Ability to establish priorities and work independently toward overall objectives Maintain a high attention to detail while managing multiple tasks Ensure quality and timeliness are a top priority – desire for accuracy Effective computer experience with Microsoft Office and software systems Handle pressure in a progressive, fast-paced environment Curious and actively learning new things
