Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (RTR / eTransfer – API Focus)

Pay Range: C$75 - C$85/Hr

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Our Financial Services client is hiring a Business Systems Analyst to support their Real-Time Rail (RTR) and Interac eTransfer modernization efforts.
• This role will focus on defining API specifications and integration requirements across settlement, reconciliation, and fraud systems.
• The BSA will act as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, translating business needs into detailed technical documentation and supporting collaborative delivery.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years as a BSA or similar role in financial services or fintech environments
• Strong experience documenting and managing API specifications (RESTful APIs, YAML/Swagger/OpenAPI)
• Knowledge of Interac eTransfer workflows (v3.7 preferred) and RTR/ISO 20022 standards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both technical and business-facing
• Familiarity with Java and AWS-based development environments is a plus
