Job Summary: As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and improving system design by partnering closely with business and technical teams. You will lead process reviews, business analysis, and functional solution design, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements. Working in an Agile environment, you’ll present and document solutions, support user acceptance testing, and ensure effective communication across Product, development scrum teams, and stakeholders. You’ll also stay across emerging business analysis trends and champion innovative ways of working, including the use of AI to enhance delivery and outcomes. Responsibilities: Gather, analyse, and document clear business and technical requirements. Develop complete, unambiguous acceptance criteria aligned to regulatory, security, and company standards. Leverage AI‑enabled tools to improve efficiency in requirements gathering and documentation. Validate requirements and acceptance criteria with stakeholders and obtain sign‑off prior to development commitment. Partner with development teams and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure outcomes meet expectations, timelines, and budgets. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the business and technology teams. Facilitate effective communication between business and development teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements, objectives, and deadlines. Identify and communicate system, scope, time, or budget constraints and manage impacts transparently. Keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks, impediments, and changes to scope or priorities. Contribute actively to team discussions and support colleagues where required. Create and maintain process, system, and knowledge documentation. Apply subject matter expertise to assist with business support and issue resolution. Facilitate and participate in training sessions to share knowledge and build capability across teams. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a related role. General knowledge of financial markets, platform industries, superannuation, accounting, and tax procedures. Strong analytical, numeracy, and solution design skills with proven technical problem‑solving capability. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI‑supported methods into business analysis practices to drive efficiency and continuous improvement. Clear, confident communicator with strong verbal, written, and negotiation skills. Client‑focused and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical stakeholders. Practical problem‑solver who communicates issues clearly to drive timely resolution. Innovative mindset with strong critical thinking and decision‑making capability.
