The IS Core Business Solutions team has an opportunity for an Intermediate Functional Analyst to supportS AP SuccessFactors with a focus on Time, Payroll, Employee Central to Enterprise Central Component Replication and Intergration Capabilities, as well as other HR technologies and business processes as required.
Collaborating with other team members on the enhancement of SuccessFactors solutions in support of new business requirements, including integration with other SuccessFactors modules and external systems. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting and resolving functional issues with all HR technology including SuccessFactors.
As part of the IS team, the Intermediate Business Systems Analyst coordinates delivery and support work across business, IT, QA teams and provides oversight to solution design to meet and/or exceed business requirements.
In addition, the Intermediate Functional Analyst is responsible for:
- Supporting IT services related to the portfolio of assigned technology applications and services.
- Delivery of assigned tasks/projects to ensure successful completion on time, on budget and within the agreed-upon scope.
- Collaborating with IT and business partners to deliver solutions that meet business requirements while leveraging standard functionality available in the application solution.
- Supporting technical solutions in alignment with corporate standards and guidelines; using corporate standard tools and guidelines to document, estimate, plan and deliver change and support services from an IT perspective.
- Identifying and participating in continuous improvement opportunities
- Documenting functional and technical solutions, test artifacts, service introduction and communication/change management plans
- Supporting IT Service Management (Incident, Problem, and Change) activities as well as enhancements, maintenance and innovation opportunities.
Position Requirements:
To make an immediate contribution in this role, you will have the following:
- Experience with system analysis, design and configuration of SAP SuccessFactors Time and Payrollmodules for Canadian payroll.
- Experience with Payroll Control Centre configuration, management and execution.
- Previous experience with SAP ECC 6.0
- Creating and maintaining reporting using Story Reporting.
- Fundamental understanding of Cloud Identity Services
- Previous experience supporting SuccessFactors in a unionized environment.
- Previous experience with SuccessFactors Compensation would be an asset.
- One or more SuccessFactors certifications would be an asset.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues between SuccessFactors Time and Payroll modules and the integration with workforce management systems.
- Experience with SuccessFactors EC to SAP ECC replication
- Proven ability to deliver creative solutions, with strong analytical skills and familiarity with the standards, methods, and techniques of systems analysis and design.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and solution architecture principles
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage planning and prioritizing competing deadlines and requirements.
- Good written and verbal communications, strong presentation, facilitation and negotiation skills
- Experience with delivery of functional, technical and testing artifacts.
- Demonstrated understanding of Application Life Cycle management principles including service, release and change management.
Your work experience is supported with relevant post-secondary education and several years of related experience in leading medium to large-scale systems development and supporting projects.
