Description

BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST

The Business Systems Integration Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, integrating business applications, and automating workflows that support the Department’s Finance and Human Resources operations. This position combines functional ERP implementation and administration with hands-on development using workflow automation tools to streamline internal processes and improve data interoperability across platforms. The role aligns with the Department’s mission to support emergency response and risk reduction through efficient, secure, and integrated business technologies.

REQUIRED OCCUPATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

To be eligible to apply for this position the applicant must meet the following required occupational qualifications prior to the closure of applications and maintain them:
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, with two (2) years of relevant experience in ERP systems, and one (1) year of that experience preferably in a public sector environment.
OR
An equivalent combination of advanced education and experience to total six (6) years of experience.
· At least 18 years of age at the time of application.
· Proof of eligibility for employment in the United States.
· Possess a valid state driver’s license.
· Must be a non-user of tobacco products, including e-cigarettes or vaping products.
· Demonstrated experience with process improvement, technical documentation, and system training.
· Maintain a professional appearance consistent with acceptable office attire.
· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English, both orally and in writing.
· Comp TIA Security+ certification is required within 12 months of hire.
· Due to the operational requirements of the role, this position must be performed in person at our facility on a daily basis. Remote work is not permitted
