ROLE PURPOSE: Reporting to the VP of IT, the Business Systems Analyst will be a critical business partner to the Operations team to build, implement, and configure core business applications in support of driving operational efficiency in a vertically integrated, fast paced, and dynamic seasonal business. What Does Success Look Like in Year 1? In their first year, this role will be a key player in our comprehensive global master data assessment, assessing business applications opportunities to increase overall operational efficiencies, and helping (in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders) to build a long-term roadmap for enhancements in master data accuracy and efficiencies. STATUS: Exempt WORKING HOURS: Typically, between 8-5pm M-F (open to some flexibility). Occasional off hours needed to limit business disruption with systems upgrades. WORK LOCATION: Operations HQ – 3157 Buford Hwy, Buford GA 30518. 3 days per week in office required. Candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a full-time basis. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead end-to-end delivery for Information Systems initiatives, including defining requirements, milestones, phases, resourcing, and timeline; propose budget/cost estimates and manage progress against plan. Review, analyze and evaluate business user needs to create technical solutions that support overall business strategies and outcomes. Handle ongoing ticket triage for business partners for critical systems needs (integrations, data flows, saved searches, dashboards, KPIs etc) Identify specific business opportunities and develop new capabilities for portfolio of business applications Effectively communicates business requirements to the development teams through the use of specifications, statements of work, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Work with business stakeholders to generate business systems requirement document including process workflows & diagrams, define scope & objectives. Partner on ERP/WMS/EDI integrations and data flows monitoring, troubleshooting, and improvements. Develop and coordinate application test plans to ensure functionality and schedules for new systems implementations, major enhancements, and upgrades. Own/coordinate UAT and release testing, including test plans, defect triage, and user sign-off for new system implementations and enhancements. Provide clear status, risks, and impact updates to business users and leadership to ensure key stakeholders are informed and reduce downtime impact. Evaluate current Information Systems and practices, drive continuous improvement of business processes. Work with consultants & software vendors to implement new systems and / or enhancements of existing systems. Partner with business stakeholders to establish and maintain master data governance, including data quality standards, hygiene practices, and controls/audits (item/customer/vendor/inventory, etc.). Create user documentation & training materials as subject matter expert to enable organization’s long term effectiveness through change. Develop and lead business application Key User groups as needed to drive adoption.
