Description
Anton Cabinetry is a commercial millwork manufacturer with a long history of investing in technology to support operations, engineering, and project execution. As our business continues to grow and mature, we are creating a newly defined Business Systems & Technology Manager role to strengthen how technology supports day-to-day execution and long-term scalability. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on with users, while also taking ownership of business systems, integration, and process improvement. Role Overview The Business Systems & Technology Manager owns Anton’s internal technology ecosystem ensuring systems are reliable, well-integrated, and aligned with real-world workflows across the business. This role works closely with operations, engineering, finance, and IT partners, translating practical workflow challenges into effective system solutions. While some flexibility exists, regular on-site presence is essential due to the physical nature of our manufacturing operations and support needs. Key Responsibilities: Business Systems & Integration •Own and support core business systems, including: •Improve workflows, reduce manual processes, and strengthen data reliability. •Design and maintain system integrations and automations. On-Site Technical Support & Infrastructure •Provide in-person technical support as needed for office and production teams, to keep work moving. •Serve as escalation support for issues handled by our managed service provider (MSP). •Ensure technology supports uptime, productivity, and safety across the facility. Adoption, Training & Process Improvement •Partner with department leaders to ensure systems are used effectively. •Create training and documentation that supports adoption and consistency. •Identify and eliminate workarounds and shadow systems over time. Vendor & MSP Management •Own day-to-day coordination with our MSP and technology vendors. •Define responsibilities, manage escalations, and ensure accountability. •Ensure infrastructure, security, and backups are maintained without disrupting operations. Technology Roadmap : •Develop and maintain a forward-looking technology roadmap aligned with company growth. •Evaluate tools and improvements with a practical, operations-first mindset. •Establish standards for system changes, access, and data ownership. Qualifications •Experience supporting technology in a construction or manufacturing environment. •Strong understanding of business operations and workflows •Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft 365 environments •Comfort working hands-on with hardware, networks, and physical systems •Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical users Preferred Experience •Project-based or custom manufacturing environments •Experience coordinating with MSPs or external IT vendors Technical Capability (Experience-Based) •Hands-on experience supporting: ◦Windows-based environments ◦On-prem and cloud-integrated networks ◦Printers, label printers, and shop-floor devices •Working knowledge of: ◦Microsoft 365 administration ◦Network fundamentals (switching, wiring, access points) ◦Endpoint and access control systems •Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across hardware, software, and workflow boundaries Work Environment •In-person role based at our facility •Regular interaction with production, engineering, and office teams •Combination of hands-on technical work and systems/process leadership Why Anton Cabinetry •Stable, growing company with a long-term view •Meaningful investment in technology and process improvement •Opportunity to shape how systems support the business as it scales •High-impact role with visibility across the organization
