About the role As a Business Systems Developer, you’ll design, build, and support systems that underpin the Forests business unit, balancing new development with ongoing system support and improvement. Deliver and support business systems with a 70/30 focus on development and support Develop new applications and enhance existing systems to meet evolving business needs Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications and technical solutions Manage the full development lifecycle, including design, build, testing, documentation, deployment, and user training Provide day-to-day support and administration of internally developed and SaaS-based applications Maintain and improve system integrations, data quality, and interfaces Ensure system changes align with business objectives and are clearly documented and communicated Drive continuous improvement through proactive system and process enhancements Support system analysis, service delivery, compliance, and overall information systems reliability About us We add value to our natural resources. You have: A tertiary qualification in Information Systems 5+ years’ experience working with SQL and Microsoft development tools such as Visual Studio .NET and/or C# Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including quality assurance and technical design Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments Expertise in solution architecture, design, and data engineering Demonstrated ability to develop clear system and technical documentation for developers Experience integrating with third-party SaaS platforms and data solutions Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Power BI A process improvement mindset, focused on delivering efficient and cost-effective solutions Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and time management skills We look forward to reviewing your application.
