Business Systems Developer

The Role
You will be a member of the Business Systems team, a software development team responsible for developing internal-facing software solutions for automating critical business processes.
You will work closely with end users across all departments to understand and refine their requirements, support and drive the adoption of our systems. You will be hands-on, working alongside developers developing and testing our software.

Responsibilities

• Write testable, maintainable code, participating across the entire software development lifecycle
• Customise and extend Trayport’s low code solutions, including but not limited to, Dynamics 365, Power Apps and Power Pages
• Work with end users to understand and refine requirements for automating business processes
• Provide technical and system support and drive adoption across the business of our tools and systems
• Create reports to support business decisions
• Proactively identify gaps in business processes and highlight areas of automation or user experience improvements

The Person

Essential

• Strong working knowledge of C# and the .Net platform.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, writing queries and understanding relational databases.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a can-do attitude.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a desire to automate manual tasks.

Desirable

• Experience with Microsoft’s Power Platform such as
• Dynamics 365
• Power Apps
• Power Pages
• Experience with HubSpot
• Experience with DocuSign CLM
• Or experience customising and extending other low-code systems
• Experience using a BI tool such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with web development
