Job Description We have an exciting opportunity to join our IT Team as a Business Systems Manager. In this role, the successful candidate will work with the Group IT Director as the key point of contact for the business unit senior teams to Culina Group IT function for all IT services. You will manage relationships with key stakeholders within the business unit along with leads and technical experts across the Culina Group IT function in order to ensure business priorities and needs are well understood and translated into appropriate IT delivery. The successful candidate will also support the Group IT Director by turning concepts into manageable delivery plans, helping others to understand the rationale and ensure they know what is expected of them to achieve the required outcomes. Key Duties; Engage with business unit annual planning cycle and act as communication conduit to ensure plans are understood within the Group IT function Align IT resource (within own team, wider Group IT function and 3rd parties) with business needs, reviewing regularly Manages own team to deliver required outcomes Develops team to deliver for today and future, including succession planning and talent management Sets goals for the team that contribute to the to the strategic objectives for the Group IT function and support the business unit strategic objectives Works cross-functionally with teams in Group IT and business unit department(s) to deliver appropriate end to end technology solutions Lead team to work with Group IT teams such as Programme, Architecture, Infrastructure & Security to ensure effective solution design is undertaken, and that end to end solutions are realised and operated effectively to meet the needs of the business unit and the wider Culina Group Help to define and facilitate the regular reporting of IT service delivered to the business unit; Support the Culina Group IT service teams to conduct service reviews with the business unit representative(s) Lead own team, and co-ordinate with Culina Group IT service, operations and infrastructure teams, to provide agreed levels of service for the business unit applications landscape Promote and drive the alignment of business processes and solution platforms across Culina Group Identify, analyse, and communicate key technology risks for the business unit. Work with the business unit and Culina Group IT stakeholders to ensure appropriate management measures are put in place, aligned to Culina Group polices and supporting the business unit business success Qualifications Ability to adapt to change and help lead / drive change Displays resilience, determination and flexibility Proactive approach and outlook Develops cross-functional effectiveness to achieve results Driving for excellence in self and creating environment and opportunities for team to raise their capability Strong communication / interpersonal skills Strong understanding of Logistics, Warehousing and Transport Planning systems and process Understands Culina Group and customer needs in a commercial context Able to apply analytical thinking to understand business and application process and architecture Effective business relationship management (strong relationship building and persuasion) Able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Awareness, appreciation and experience of operating using industry standard IT processes (eg project management, ITIL, structured development methodologies etc) Strong desire to achieve Strong organisation and planning skills for self and others Additional Information As part of our drive to make Culina Group a great place to work.
