Job Description We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Assistant Manager to join our Business Tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with a passion for tax advisory, technical excellence, and hands-on experience in tax audits. Provide technical tax advice and recommendations based on current legislation Review and prepare tax reports, technical memoranda, and client deliverables. Ensure clients meet compliance and reporting obligations, including timely and accurate tax filings. Analyse data to develop practical solutions and recommendations for clients. Support tax planning, M&A transactions, and corporate restructures. Manage tax controversy matters, including audits, appeals, and dispute resolution. Utilise technology to enhance service delivery and share best practices with the team. Build strong client relationships and proactively manage client expectations. Qualifications CA (SA) or Postgraduate qualification in Taxation (MCom preferred). with at least 3 years’ relevant working experience, including client-facing roles. Proven experience in tax audits and a strong understanding of mining tax issues. Excellent knowledge of South African tax laws, compliance, and reporting requirements. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and deliver high-quality service. Experience in drafting technical reports and presenting to clients.
