What you’ll do: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored tax advice. Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise clients' tax positions and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Ensure all tax filings and compliance requirements are met accurately and on time for clients. Identify and mitigate tax-related risks for clients, ensuring they are aware of potential issues and solutions. Identify opportunities for expanding services with existing clients and attracting new clients to the firm. Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations, and provide insights and training to the team and clients. Oversee multiple client projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Conduct detailed financial analysis to support tax planning and decision-making processes. Work closely with other departments, such as audit and advisory, to provide comprehensive services to clients. What we're looking for: Experience in private/business and/or corporate tax, with hands‑on exposure to complex tax matters. CA qualification or equivalent professional accounting/tax credential. Proven experience leading and developing onshore teams, with a focus on coaching and delivering quality outcomes. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and client relationships, balancing competing priorities and expectations. Commercial mindset and excellent communication skills, able to translate technical advice into practical solutions. A commitment to ongoing learning, collaboration and contributing to business development and knowledge sharing. Experience and ability to work in a collaborative team environment to achieve desired outcomes for our clients.
