Quantum Scholars are currently working alongside a secondary school in Basingstoke who are seeking a driven and dedicated Business Teacher to join their staff from September 2025.

The school hiring are based in Basingstoke. They’re rated as a “Good” school overall by Ofsted. It is an 11-16 mixed secondary school.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The school is looking for a dynamic and committed Business Teacher who can inspire and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, challenging, and well-structured lessons that foster a love for learning and prepare students for success in exams and future careers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress and attainment
• Create a supportive and positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Business department, including extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote best practices in teaching and learning
• Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and participate in continuing professional development
  Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject
• Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary school level
• A track record of raising student achievement and delivering high-quality outcomes
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
• The ability to inspire, challenge, and support students of all abilities
• Available to start in September 2025
