Description

Are you enthusiastic about testing, business and software analysis? And would you like to be part of a journey aiming at placing Tryg as the best insurance company in the Nordics?

ABOUT US

As an IT professional working at Tryg, every day is your chance to make an impact and help shape the future IT setup of a leading Nordic insurance company. We’re looking to take every aspect of our IT setup and solutions to the next level, so all your ideas, ambition, input, and experience are welcome and valuable. From agile workflows to best practices in development and choosing which new emerging technologies to bank on, your word matters here.

Responsibilities

We create high-quality software solutions, which focus particularly on our mainframe application, developed in Natural and is the core of our operations that meet business needs and ensure customer satisfaction. This helps our colleagues who support Tryg’s customers by providing reliable and efficient services.
You will be a part of our Core Policy & Partner department, which consists of developers, business analysts and quality assurance testers who work with the Product owners in our four agile teams. In our department we work with the development and management of offers and policies for Tryg and partners. Other stakeholders are product developers, actuaries, lawyers and partner managers.
We are now looking for a Business & Test analyst that can help us understand and analyze business needs and ensure products of good quality.

We imagine your core tasks will be:

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, and execute them manually and using automated testing tools like Leapwork.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and the development team.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects.

Part of the team works from offshore, while others from the office in Ballerup, so much of the work is done virtually. Communication is in English, but the ability to communicate effectively in one or more Scandinavian languages is highly beneficial.
