Priory Hospital Altrincham is looking to recruit a Business Therapy Manager to join the team. This is a full time 37.5 hours role.
Priory Hospital Altrincham provides expert treatment for a range of mental health conditions and addictions.
The hospital is comprised of three inpatient units, providing specialist care for adults with range of mental health challenges and addictions.
Altrincham also provides established, evidence-based outpatient treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and bipolar disorder. We also offer private autism assessments for adults.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you’re assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.

  • The role holder will play a key part in developing and delivering the hospital strategy, providing operational leadership to the team ensuring effective clinical governance.
  • The role holder will be responsible for the financial performance of the therapy team and proactively manage budgets against actual performance.
  • The role holder will be responsible for business development of therapy service provision in the hospital including actively promoting the hospital’s therapy services, identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring plans are in place for maintaining census throughout the year.
  • The role holder will regularly monitor, review and report on the performance of therapy services programmes against key performance indicators, quality assurance targets and audit results ensuring the team works within the standards and frameworks of professional codes of conduct.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

The ideal candidate must have a detailed understanding of statutory regulations, a passion for providing high-quality care, and the ability to demonstrate forward-thinking, proactive, and creative leadership and decision-making skills. They should also show commercial and business acumen in managing the cost and income performance of the therapy team. Essential experience includes working at a managerial level within a healthcare environment, with a strong background in leadership, people management, and developing a skilled and motivated workforce. A proven track record of innovation is also required.
