Job Responsibilities: Provide technical consulting in facility condition assessments, energy audits, capital planning, and data analytics Client engagements focused on optimizing facility portfolio performance, infrastructure resilience, and long-term capital investment strategies Lead and conduct comprehensive facility condition assessments to evaluate the physical integrity, system performance, and lifecycle status of client facilities and infrastructure Plan and perform detailed energy audits, identifying energy conservation measures and developing practical recommendations for improved energy efficiency and cost savings Oversee data quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of facility inventory data, deficiencies, and cost projections Analyze complex datasets related to facility performance, capital renewal needs, and operational risk to support long-term planning and investment decisions Prepare and review technical reports summarizing findings, energy opportunities, risk mitigation strategies, and capital improvement recommendations Develop capital investment plans that prioritize projects based on asset criticality, risk exposure, funding constraints, and client objectives Advise on project prioritization frameworks using lifecycle cost analysis, ROI modeling, and industry best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that improve asset performance and portfolio value Mentor junior staff, providing technical oversight, QA/QC support, and professional development in asset management methodologies and client-facing work Up to 50% domestic travel required Telecommuting is permitted up to 3 days per week Qualifications Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Design and Environmental Analysis, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of study and 5 years of experience as a Business Transformation Specialist, Energy Modeler, Mechanical Design Engineer, or a related occupation Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Design and Environmental Analysis, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of study and 2 years of experience as a Business Transformation Specialist, Energy Modeler, Mechanical Design Engineer, or a related occupation Position requires experience in the following: BUILDER Energy modeling software Custom dashboards Supporting data-driven recommendations and strategic planning ASHRAE energy audit templates Mechanical and lighting systems Analyzing equipment and meter data Performing LCCA to determine energy conservation measures Assessor apps on tablets for collecting asset and nameplate data Microsoft Excel for cost analysis, scorecard, and report generation on site condition and capital planning Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Professional Engineer (PE) Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
