We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Transformation and Change Lead to join our Grid Solutions Program team in the Brisbane CBD on a full-time basis for 15 months, with the possibility of extension. Reporting to the General Manager Grid Solutions and leading a team of up to nine, you will drive transformation efforts, lead internal change initiatives, and optimise business processes. As a key player in a multi-year digital transformation program, you will help modernise how we operate our gas transmission assets, directly impacting APA’s core revenue. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our business and drive meaningful change that sets APA up for long-term success. Key Responsibilities Drive business process improvements by conducting strategic analysis, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing process enhancements to align with future objectives. Lead change management efforts by applying structured methodologies, conducting impact assessments, and developing targeted adoption strategies. Mitigate risks and manage readiness by identifying potential resistance points and developing tailored plans to ensure smooth transitions and stakeholder engagement. Facilitate stakeholder collaboration by partnering with business leaders, project teams, and specialist functions to embed change initiatives seamlessly. Measure and report change effectiveness by developing tracking mechanisms to assess adoption, utilisation, and proficiency, providing insights to leadership. Support APA customers in seamlessly adopting the new system. Your background Extensive experience in business transformation, change management, and process optimisation, with a proven track record in large-scale or enterprise-wide change initiatives. Strong strategic and big-picture thinking, expertise in business process mapping, reengineering, and driving organisational improvements. Advanced stakeholder engagement, change impact assessment, and risk mitigation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Proficient in applying structured change management methodologies and leading cross-functional teams through transformation. Strong project management skills, balancing competing priorities in fast-paced and complex environments. Data-driven approach to measuring transformation success, including performance tracking, reporting, and insights to inform change strategies. Certified in Change Management, with excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills to drive adoption and engagement.
