IDEAL CANDIDATE:   EDUCATION: College degree or equivalent work experience.   EXPERIENCE:  Minimum two years of hotel experience with preferred luxury market   * Develops and implements sales action plans within business travel market segment to achieve budgeted goals.  * Preferred experience with Corporate, Consortia, Wholesale, and Crew business segments * Preferred experience with Opera, Agency 360, Travel Click, HRS, OTA Insights, Lanyon, & Delphi applications  * Assures individual booking goals are achieved on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.  * Completes the assigned minimum sales calls per week with existing and prospective clients, including outside, telemarketing, in-house site inspections, and client entertainment.  * Creates and implements impactful revenue initiatives and strategies to grow segment share and revenue.  * Solicits (prospects), evaluates, sells, and confirms business as required to meet assigned market segment’s budgeted sales and profit margin.  * Negotiates with clients to secure business travel, room nights for the hotel.  Works closely with reservations to ensure clients’ needs are met for successful room night production and segmentation growth.  * Proactively cross sells both catering and group business opportunities.   * Follows up on assigned sales leads in a timely manner.  * Presents proposals prepared with Director of Sales & Marketing to achieve maximum profit while satisfying client needs.  * Regularly use available resources throughout hotel and in local community to uncover and confirm account and booking leads.  * Reviews assigned accounts to ensure proper production of room nights were achieved to maintain rates.  * Work closely with DOSM and DOR to establish annual both Global and Local seasons and rates.  * Assists in developing and executes projects for assigned market areas as stated in the hotel Marketing Plan to increase sales volume and profitability.  * Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented.  Coordinate various departments’ participation in servicing accounts.  * Contacts customers in-house to promote good will and foster additional business, repeat bookings, or referrals to other Millennium properties.  Schedule and host travel agent presentations to build existing and potential customers.  * Participates in solving problems with other departments as required relative to business booked in the hotel such as salvaging of accounts which threaten cancellation and effectively compromise between customer needs and hotel facilities.  * Conducts and or attends meetings to maintain favorable working relationships among company employees and promote maximum morale, productivity, and efficiency.  * Prepares reports, as requested, to develop a more informative database for improved management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities.  * Prepare information for, meet with and entertain clients as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account.  * Represent hotel at trade shows as specified by corporate trade show attendance guide.   Set up exhibits involving bending, stooping, lifting and reading overhead.  * Participate in business review meetings, special events, sales blitzes, sales meetings, lobby coverage program, and fam trips.  * Is familiar with basic hotel operations, Sales department, and negotiated account agreements.  * Accurately completes and submits expense report to the DOSM on a timely basis for approval and processing.  * Follow the company's brand standards and code of business conduct.       BENEFITS AT LOTTE:   * Remote Work (Hybrid) * Medical, Dental, and Vision plans that become available on Day 1 of employment.   * Retirement Savings Plan (401k) with company matching. * Competitive wages   * Two weeks of Vacation Days   * Nine paid Holidays   * Three Personal Days to use every calendar year.   * Public Transportation Discount (ORCA)   * Tuition Reimbursement Program   * A rich culture of Team Member Recognition   * Learning and Development opportunities
