Your missions : Position Context As part of a replacement, we are recruitingour Business Unit Director – Companion Animals. Reporting to the Country Director, as a member of the subsidiary’s executive committee and working closely with the Global Marketing Department, you play a key role in defining, executing, and steering the commercial and marketing strategy of your Business Unit. Your Responsibilities: Vision & Strategy Build and deploy the short-, medium-, and long-term Business Plan. Define the 3–5 year vision for the BU in alignment with national, regional, and global strategies. Develop marketing and commercial plans while anticipating market trends and evolutions. Strengthen our multichannel strategy (veterinary, e-commerce, retail) to grow all our brands in France. Business Management Manage the P&L, optimize gross margin, and achieve financial targets. Oversee sales forecasting, pricing policy, and commercial terms. Ensure smooth communication between the BU and national leadership. Engage with key accounts and influence strategic negotiations within French and European partnerships. Market Development Analyze market dynamics, competition, and customer needs. Identify growth opportunities and support product launches. Develop the multichannel strategy for target brands. Leadership & Management Lead, develop, and engage commercial, marketing, technical, and KAM teams (50 people). Define staffing needs, recruit, train, and support talent development. Promote a culture of feedback, empowerment, and performance. Corporate Engagement Contribute proactively to global strategic projects. Participate in operational committees with other European countries. Your profile : Key Skills: Master’s degree (Business, Veterinary, or Scientific background). Minimum of 8 years’ experience in marketing and/or sales, ideally within a technical or scientific environment (animal health, human health, OTC, FMCG). Strategic vision and strong anticipation skills. Solid financial and managerial competencies. Strong leadership, team spirit, and communication skills. Ability to create value and develop long-term partnerships. Mastery of storytelling as an engagement lever. Workforce management and talent development experience. Results-oriented with data-driven decision-making. Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).
