BUSINESS UNIT DIRECTOR - EPR

RPS, a Tetra Tech company is seeking accomplished Director(s) to lead Business Unit(s) within our Environment, Planning and Renewables (EPR) Sector, to be based in one of our three main offices: Dublin, Cork or Galway.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • We are seeking a proven leader with a strong technical foundation, commercial acumen, and the ability to inspire. You should bring:
  • National reputation in a relevant discipline.
  • Strong commercial leadership, including P&L responsibility and project pipeline development.
  • Demonstrated client leadership including significant experience in client relationship management and project delivery.
  • Proven experience in building and leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in the technical and commercial management of projects.
  • Strong inter-personal skills, with a leadership style grounded in collaboration and delivery.
  • Experience navigating complex project or regulatory environments, with a focus on solutions and outcomes.
  • A track record of winning large, complex bids and delivering projects within programme and budget.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Chartered professional (or equivalent) with more than 12 years’ experience, some of which will be gained in a technical consultancy / in Ireland.
  • Degree qualified (Level 8) in STEM degree.

  • Drive strategic growth through client engagement, team development and service excellence.
  • Deliver strong commercial performance through the effective management of resources, risk and contracts.
  • Maintain and enhance quality, compliance, and technical innovation across service delivery.
  • Collaborate across Business Units and Sectors to win and deliver multidisciplinary work.
  • Act as a visible and trusted leader, internally and externally, representing RPS with credibility and impact.
