Description
Establish and maintain market leadership by developing commercial strategies, optimizing execution with country teams, and driving IO&E growth initiatives aligned with divisional and cluster objectives. Ensure strong territory management and develop targeting and segmentation models for the IO&E franchise. Build and execute the IO&E marketing strategy, including positioning, messaging, value propositions, and omnichannel programs. Collaborate with country marketing teams to enhance productivity and profitability in high potential regions. Develop customer education and training programs in partnership with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Learning & Development. Prepare markets for new IO&E product launches or operational/technical program rollouts. Ensure adequate technical, clinical, and commercial training for sales teams and customers. Support proctoring, centers of excellence, and education pathways needed to accelerate IO&E adoption. Evaluate opportunities considering customer and country business needs. Support negotiation strategies for economically constrained environments. Guide the IO&E team in full compliance with BSC's Quality System, regional regulations, and Code of Conduct. Drive quality awareness and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in Management Review of Quality meetings as appropriate. Build a high‑performing IO&E commercial team aligned to strategic priorities. Maintain deep understanding of IO&E market beyond med tech industry, competitive landscape, technology trends, and clinical/economic drivers Provide continuous education and tools to the team to remain current on industry, competitor, and product updates. Collect field insights Lead development of the IO&E Strategic Plan through opportunity assessment and customer segmentation. Identify emerging market trends, disruptive opportunities, and competitive threats. Influence global teams by representing EMEA market needs and leveraging global resources. Develop commercial strategies to win against competitors and new entrants. 15+ years of sales and marketing leadership within medical devices or related technical industries. Experience managing cross cultural teams in a matrix environment. Biomedical Engineering, scientific, or business degree; MBA preferred. Languages Fluency in English; other languages an asset. Proven business acumen, strong record in building successful business strategies, P&L management, and leading high performing teams.
