MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Higher academic education (University degree) or experience from similar positions
  • Proven track record and experience in the General Medicine industry
  • Demonstrated ability in selling pharmaceutical products, whilst able to manage a team effective
  • Proven experience in Marketing Management
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written communications
  • Detailed track record of success, incl. product launches
  • Digital literacy (MS Office programs)
  • Management experience of a relevant-sized team

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong track record in a leading pharmaceutical/biotechnology company
  • Previous track record as Business Unit Head or Manager with the ability to meet targets, manage a team and lead from the front.
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This vital role will be reporting into the General Manager for Singapore/Malaysia and will be responsible for our General Medicine product lines covering, Bone Health, Cardiovascular and Inflammation with inline products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all strategic and operational matters relating to the marketing, sales, account management, legal and contracting in Singapore
  • Participates in the development of regional strategies and tactics; adapts and implements brand strategies and key branding directions locally by considering regional consistency
  • Ensures optimal effectiveness of Field Force with support from SME Manager
  • Develops sales goals and budget and ensuring delivery of targets and budgetary compliance
  • Partners with the Medical lead in the development and execution of the Medical Affairs and promotional strategies
  • Develops business cases to capitalize on growth opportunities outside of budgeted resources

Attracts, develops and retains talents and ensures effective coaching and performance assessment

  • Provides leadership (as BU Head, Country Management Committee member and when applicable, BT member)
