We are currently seeking a Site Manager to lead our laboratory based in Budapest — an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence, team leadership, and business growth in a dynamic and high-impact environment. Job Description The Business Unit Manager – Food & Feed Testing Budapest will have overall responsibility for a team of approximately 90 FTEs. This role is pivotal in driving operational optimization and sustainable growth for the site. The manager will lead cross-functional teams and ensure the lab continues its trajectory toward profitability. Take full ownership of P&L management Drive turnaround time (TAT) improvements, automation, and LEAN initiatives Manage KPIs to measure and improve the performance of the lab Conduct service portfolio reviews and support the launch of new tests to meet market needs Collaboration with other laboratories of Eurofins’ network to develop the business Qualifications Engineering background with proven experience in operations or site management, ideally in a laboratory, production, or industrial setting Strong financial acumen and data-driven mindset Comfortable with client-facing responsibilities Proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented Fluent in Hungarian and English Additional Information We support your development!
