Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Business Unit Manager within the Immunology department to join our dynamic and innovative Citywest office in Dublin
In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of our mission to improve patient care and transform lives. You will lead the strategic development, tactical implementation, and financial planning aspects of Brand Strategy, managing both the marketing and commercial activities. Your responsibilities will include guiding and coaching the Infield Team to optimize brand sales and margins, all while keeping the patient at the center of our efforts and adhering to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and all applicable laws and regulations.

This is a People Manager role and reports directly into the Business Unit Director for Immunology.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with successful marketing and sales leadership experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
• 5+ years relevant experience.
• Ability to develop business vision and translate it into practical strategies.
• Proven success in leading, managing, and coaching teams; experienced in talent development and performance management.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare environment and its dynamics.
• Deep knowledge of strategic and tactical marketing and sales principles.
• Effective operation and leadership within a matrix structure.
• Solid understanding of finance principles and processes.
• Key Relationships:
• External: Healthcare professionals in relevant therapy areas.
• Internal: Collaborate with Brand Team, Leadership Team, Area Commercial Director, Global Teams.
