Job Description Role Overview The Business Unit Manager Ruminants and Tech Belgium is responsible for defining and executing market strategies for the ruminant portfolio, including vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and support local implementation of livestock monitoring systems (SenseHub) strategy. The role leads a multidisciplinary team, driving customer satisfaction, portfolio growth, and digital adoption. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Commercial Leadership Translate regional strategies into actionable Belgian business plans. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the full ruminants portfolio. Drive business success and ensure strong leadership of the pharma and vaccine portfolio, with clear focus on growth, profitability, and market competitiveness. Ruminants Pharmaceutical & Vaccine Portfolio Leadership Strengthen the strategic positioning and lifecycle management of the pharma and vaccine portfolio. Guide commercial excellence and value‑based selling approaches. Ensure alignment between commercial, medical, and supply teams to optimize performance. Contribute to strengthening collaboration with Technology distributors and installers. Customer & Key Account Management Build strong relationships with veterinarians and producers. Support key account development. Team Leadership & Development Lead and develop the ruminants team. Build capabilities in animal health and ag-tech. Operational Excellence Ensure compliant and efficient operations. Oversee forecasting, CRM adoption, and performance tracking. Market Intelligence & Innovation Monitor competitive dynamics. Introduce innovative technologies and digital tools. Stakeholder Engagement Represent our company in industry forums and innovation networks. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Veterinary, Animal Science, Agri‑Engineering, Business, or related. Strong commercial experience within ruminants; ag‑tech experience is a plus. Proven leadership experience. Fluency in English; strong Dutch and/or French.
