Join a team that is as vibrant, dynamic, and unique as the island itself! JOB SUMMARY As a Busser, you are responsible for assisting servers in all tasks to provide exceptional service to guests. Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and stocking of dining areas and service stations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Job duties include, although are not limited to: Stock all service areas with clean linen, china, silverware, and glassware Fill ice and water glasses Offer coffee, tea, or soda to guests Help carry food trays Maintain cleanliness of all service areas Sweep floors Wipe down countertops Empty trash receptacles Assist in set-up and clean up of tables Following checklists and standard operating procedures Other duties as assigned PAY TRANSPARENCY The pay scale for this position is at $16.90 per hour. The pay is the hourly rate plus gratuities. The total compensation package is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and education or training. SCHEDULE This position requires a flexible schedule with shifts that consist of a rotating schedule of weekday and weekends shifts, including day, night, and holiday work hours. QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 16 years old California Food Handlers Certificate required Commitment to delivering exceptional service Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Must be well organized WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Our workplace is clean, lighted and ventilated with proper safety compliance. Noise levels are considered medium and daily physical activities are considered moderate. Employees must have the stamina to work long hours if assigned. Hours and days of work may vary by position. Most work tasks are performed indoors and outdoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must be physically able to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment as well as delicate china and glassware. Up to 50 lbs. Also, you must be physically able to walk without assistance on various surfaces for an extended period of time. This position requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing. SCHEDULE This position requires a flexible schedule, with rotating weekday and weekend shifts, including day, night, and holiday hours.
