Duties Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring proper presentation and temperature. Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing plates, and resetting tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining environment. Support the kitchen staff by handling food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing dishes. Ensure all food handling complies with safety standards and food safety protocols to protect guest health. Communicate clearly with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and timing. Maintain a high level of guest service by responding promptly to guest requests and providing friendly assistance. Help uphold cleanliness standards in the dining area, including organizing service stations and assisting with general restaurant upkeep. Skills Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, including serving or bussing roles. Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing. Experience with food preparation, plating, or culinary tasks is a plus. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings such as banquet events or hotel restaurants. Kitchen experience or hospitality background that enhances guest service delivery.
