Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. In this role, you will set the tone for the dining experience by greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced breakfast and lunch environment.
Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, providing accurate wait times.
Guide guests through the dining area and assist with special seating needs.
Support servers by clearing and resetting tables as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
Assist with guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
Requirements
Previous hosting or customer service experience preferred (restaurant experience is a plus).
Strong communication and people skills.
Ability to stay calm and organized in a busy environment.
Team-oriented, reliable, and guest-focused attitude.
Must be able to stand for long periods and move quickly between tasks.
