Title: Busser Location: Oxnard, CA Schedule/Hours: Part-time 18 - 24 hours / week. Sun - Thursday (Sun. & Thurs. required) Compensation: $16.90 per hour + tip pooling We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Busser to support our front-of-house team and help deliver an exceptional dining experience. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our guests by assisting servers, preparing tables, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. What You’ll Do: Prepare dining areas by cleaning and setting tables with linens, utensils, condiments, and decorations Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations throughout all meal periods Assist servers by delivering beverages, bread, and other items to guests as needed Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently Transport dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils to the dishwashing area Fold napkins and restock supplies such as condiments and silverware Respond promptly to spills, guest needs, and special requests Follow all sanitation, safety, and health guidelines Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure excellent service Maintain consistent attendance and reliability What You’ll Need to Succeed: High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to read and understand basic instructions and communication Strong teamwork and communication skills Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds safely Comfortable working in a high-energy, sometimes stressful environment What Tierra Sur Offers You: Generous sick time to prioritize your well-being and work-life balance.
