Description
  The Olympic Club, historic private athletic club in downtown San Francisco near Union Square, is seeking a professional, efficient and customer service oriented Busser. Local 2 Union position. Scheduling is based upon position seniority with shifts being assigned according to operational needs for lunch, dinner and banquet events. Reports to the Food and Beverage Operations Manager. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Set up and remove table settings and linen. * Provide beverage service. * Banquet room preparation, buffet set up and breakdown. * Maintain clean work area and other duties assigned as needed. * Dinner shifts require an emphasis on assisting waiters with the execution of fine dining service. Qualifications Required: * Must have 2-3 years previous bussing experience in a busy fine dining restaurant, hotel, club, or similar outlet. * Must have excellent customer service skills. * Flexible schedule. * Basic English communication skills required. * Must be able to stand for long periods of time. * Work independently and have attention to detail. Interviews are by scheduled appointment only. All employment offers are pending satisfactory results from a background investigation and pre-employment drug testing. Responsibilities
The Busser is responsible for setting up and removing table settings and linen, providing beverage service, and preparing banquet rooms. They will also assist waiters during fine dining service and maintain a clean work area.
