Job DetailsJob Location: Stamford, CT 06901Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $16.94 - $16.94 HourlyWe are looking for a dual threat Food Runner and Busser to join our team and be the liaison between our kitchen and waitstaff. If you’d like to gain experience in the restaurant industry and love be in a high paced and fun environment, we’d like to meet you! Maintain health and safety regulations Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins from tables as needed Clean, sanitize and reset tables in a timely fashion Proper maintenance and cleaning of side stations and floors throughout the facility Refilling drinking glasses with water Proper knowledge of our food menu and plating requirements Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Strong people skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and teammates Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations (or willingness to learn) High energy level with the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support fellow staff members Excellent verbal communication and listening skills Ability to follow directions and take feedback constructively Strong time-management and multitasking abilities Reliable, punctual, and dependable Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods of time Comfortable lifting and carrying trays, dishes, and supplies as needed
Responsibilities
Act as the liaison between the kitchen and waitstaff by running food and bussing tables. Maintain facility cleanliness by sanitizing tables and managing side stations according to health regulations.
