Bussines Analyst We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in finance to join our team. This role will involve supporting complex, high-impact projects by gathering requirements, assessing risks, and delivering strategic insights to drive our business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate during development and implementation phases, contributing to the definition of system scope, objectives, and necessary enhancements for complex projects. Identify and communicate risks and impacts, proposing effective risk mitigation strategies that align with the business and technology landscape. Serve as a primary point of contact for business clients to determine system functional specifications and coordinate with multiple management teams to meet organizational goals. Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements to recommend appropriate system enhancements or alternatives, keeping industry standards in mind. Provide in-depth, sophisticated analyses to define problems, develop innovative solutions, and influence strategic functional decisions. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for senior stakeholders and team members, offering guidance and insight. Assess risk when making business decisions, upholding the firm’s reputation, and safeguarding clients and assets by adhering to compliance standards, demonstrating sound ethical judgment, and managing control issues transparently. What We’re Looking For: Experience: 6-10 years of relevant experience in the financial industry. Product Knowledge: Prior experience with FX and/or Rates products is essential. Trade & Risk Management: Understanding of Trade Capture and Risk Management processes is highly desirable. Leadership & Project Management: Demonstrated leadership skills and strong project management abilities to coordinate across teams. Communication Skills: Ability to consistently deliver clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner and influence across organizational boundaries. Analytical Skills: Proven expertise in using advanced analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques. Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis with intermediate to advanced skills in Python, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite.
