OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Butchery Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our butchery, ensuring that high-quality meat products are prepared, packaged, and presented to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food production and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in food production or preparation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Culinary experience or background in the food industry is a plus.
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat cutting techniques are highly desirable.
  • Experience in customer service, particularly within a restaurant or retail environment, is beneficial.
  • A passion for quality food and a willingness to learn new skills in butchery are key attributes for success in this role.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $17.85-$22.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
