KEY REQUIREMENTS

Time-keeping - Excellent timekeeping and attendance is required in this role.
Communication - Due to the changeable nature of this role, regular communication is required between you and your line manager in order to maximize efficiency.
Flexibility - The nature of the business is dependent on customer service which requires certain aspects of flexibility such as roster changes, cover on days that are short-staffed in all areas of the butcher sections as needed. You will be notified of these changes by your line manager
High Standards of Quality - A consistent level of quality is required, in keeping with Avoca high standards in all stores.

Responsibilities

Preparing and presenting butcher product in accordance with approved recipes and to a very high standard.
Following all HACCP and food safety regulations, as well as any additional in-house SOPs, labelling requirements etc.
Preparation and production of butcher product to be sent to Avoca stores in line with internal ordering processes and procedures.
Excellent customer service, for both internal and external customers.
Maintaining good relationships with suppliers while remaining vigilant regarding quality and pricing.
