Description Hinoon Hospitality is looking for a skilled Butcher to join our elite team and support our continued growth! Buck & Rider is a Seafood Eatery and Oyster Bar. Our seafood-centric restaurant focuses on a fun vibe, youthful attitude, and clean recipe lineup of food and drinks. Everything is fresh, from the raw bar to the vegetables, and locally driven. Our van drivers pick up the fresh fish, directly from Sky Harbor airport and distribute it amongst our three locations: Arcadia, North Scottsdale, and Gilbert! You will work in one of Phoenix’s most acclaimed restaurants! Benefits: Benefit plan options for full-time team members Competitive pay Flexible schedules Huge opportunities for advancement within a growing hospitality group Employee referral program Paid training Supportive company culture focused on respect, teamwork, and professionalism Employee meals / dining discounts (if applicable) Day in the Life: Prepare, cut, trim, debone, and portion meats according to company standards Inspect all meat products to ensure freshness, quality, and proper storage Maintain clean and organized workstations, tools, and equipment at all times Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations consistently Label, rotate, and store inventory properly using FIFO methods Minimize product waste through efficient cutting and preparation techniques Work collaboratively with chefs, kitchen staff, and management to meet daily operational needs Maintain speed, precision, and consistency in a fast-paced kitchen environment Follow direction from management and maintain endurance for long periods on your feet Requirements: Prior experience as a butcher, meat cutter, or similar role in a restaurant, hospitality, or food service environment Strong knowledge of meat cuts, preparation techniques, and food safety standards Ability to safely and efficiently operate knives and meat-cutting equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume environment Physical capability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in refrigerated areas Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Food Handler Card Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
