POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated and dependable Part-Time Butcher Shop Associate to support our butcher shop operations during weekday evening closing shifts, including weekends. This role is part of a high-quality, specialty grocery environment where customers value premium meats, customer service, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food, takes pride in cleanliness and presentation, and thrives in a customer-facing role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a butcher shop, deli, meat department, or specialty grocery store considered an asset.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly during closing shifts.
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities

CLOSING DUTIES:

  • Clean and sanitize counters, cutting surfaces, equipment, and display cases.
  • Break down and secure the butcher station according to store procedures.
  • Prepare the department for the next day’s opening (e.g., restocking supplies, logging inventory).
