JOB SUMMARY

The leading supplier of high-quality meat products is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher to join the wholesale team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products according to company and customer specifications, while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Location: Scarborough, McNicoll Ave and Markham Rd
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Overtime may be required during busy periods)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a butcher in a wholesale or commercial setting.
  • Knowledge of meat cutting techniques, tools, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety standards (e.g. HACCP certification is an asset).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills; ability to follow instructions in English.
