Gloagburn is a thriving shop and farm shop located just outside Perth. We have a new position arising for a counter assistant in the butchery department within the farm shop.
You will be the first point of contact for our customers and should have a cheerful, enthusiastic attitude and a genuine interest in butchery products and food in general. Your role will be to provide a high standard of service and to support and assist our butchers in the production and display of counter items.
Key tasks will include weighing, packaging and pricing items for sale, maintaining the butchery counter throughout the day, keeping chilled cabinets stocked and in date order, preparing and finishing butchery items.
Hours are 24 - 36 per week working three or four days from seven. Earliest start 7.30am latest finish 5.30pm.
Previous butchery or food retail experience is an advantage but not a requirement, full training and opportunities to progress will be given. You must be willing to learn and thrive in a busy customer focused environment.
