BUTLER Job Summary: The butler is responsible for all aspects of the guests' care during their stay and will provide attentive personalized service according to internationally-approved standards. As a Butler, you will benefit from continued service training and play a key role in achieving our goal of providing our most elite guests with the highest professional standards in Butler Service, thus exceeding their expectations. Responsibilities: * Preparing and inspecting guest suites and other areas that may be requested * Ensuring that all procedures and responsibilities related to greeting/arrival are adhered to including property tours and VIP standards * Attending pre and post shift meetings and department meetings as scheduled * Working with other departments to ensure guest preferences are met * Documenting required paperwork and pays strong attention to details when accommodating guests' needs * Ensuring guest preferences and requests are noted and fulfilled Qualifications: * High School Leaving Certificate/Diploma * Minimum of two (2) years' experience in the Hospitality Industry * Professional Butler certification is an advantage * Valid Food Handler's Permit * Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft suite of programmes * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Must pay keen attention to details and be proactive Work Environment: * Indoor/outdoor spaces in varying temperature * May be required to work outside normal hours, on weekends, and public holidays * Heavy guest interaction * Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects * Walking and standing for long hours * Ability to bend, squat, sit, climb, reach, and kneel
