Butler Requirements: Min. 2 years’ experience in the same field Experience in a 4* or 5* operations (hotel and/or cruise ships) Highly proficient in spoken and written English Self-organized, disciplined, and reliable Team player Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Familiar with a multicultural working environment Outgoing personality Good problem-solving skills Role and Responsibilities: Provide a professional and courteous service at designated workstations in accordance with company standards and procedures Introduce butler services, amenities, and facilities to all guests Responsible for room service in all suites Jointly responsible with the assistant restaurant manager for the specialty-restaurant (L'Amour, Portobello, La Rive) Retain full knowledge of the Food & Beverage menu Prepare the River Café display Provide Early-Riser- & Late-Breakfast Prepare and assist with Café Lunch set up and service Clean and polish chinaware, glasses, and silverware Duly inform supervisor about any guest complaints Notify supervisor about breakage or damage of any equipment or machinery and keep a record/list of breakage Maintain cleanliness front and back of the house according to HACCP regulations. Ensure correct handling of all equipment and machinery Duly report any potential safety hazards Side Tasks: Assist other departments as per supervisor's instructions Perform other duties as assigned, e.g. luggage service, loading, and garbage off-loading Participate in all safety drills and ensure solid knowledge of designated Safety role
