JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Planning and issuance of purchase orders, scheduling with suppliers, and logistics coordination.
• Purchase production supplies, finished goods, and other third-party resale items for sale to our customers, ensuring materials are available as needed.
• Strategically reviews the purchasing history, demands, and purchasing strategy and makes modifications to the ordering process affecting the inventory KPIs and desired pricing metrics.
• Corrective action / Problem resolution process with suppliers as necessary to meet established KPI’s.
• Support MOH, Slow moving, and Obsolete inventory annual reduction goals and reach ITW metric targets.
• Assist with specialty regulatory projects including USMCA, Conflict minerals, and Supply chain integrity programs.
• Assist in PLS & 80/20 Activities to minimize our purchasing activity, determine better purchasing strategies, and identify potential improvements to our supply chain department.
• Perform administrative tasks such as cycle counts, invoice verification, and resolution of receipts.
